Hey, welcome to VoraPrep Audio. Today's episode is from our EA Exam Strategy Masterclass: "Order of Battle: Sequencing the 3 Parts of the IRS SEE Exam".
Three parts, 100 questions each. But you should never take Part 2 first. Here is why.
Marcus: Ava, EA candidates often ask: "Should I just take Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 in order?" What is our recommendation?
Ava: If you have tax preparation experience, Part 1 into Part 2 into Part 3 works well. But for career-changers or anyone with test anxiety, starting with Part 3 is the smartest momentum play in the business.
Marcus: Part 3 has the highest pass rate, usually near 80 percent. The blueprint is focused on Circular 230 ethics, representation, and procedural rules. Locking in a pass on Part 3 removes the psychological barrier immediately.
Ava: And whatever you do, never start with Part 2. Business taxation assumes you already understand individual flow-through concepts, basis step-ups, and depreciation recapture. Respect the sequence.
Marcus: If you want to put this exact strategy into practice with thousands of blueprint-aligned questions and an authentic exam simulator, head over to voraprep.com. Start your free trial today—no credit card required.
